Meet the Candidate

Wilmington Citizens & Neighbors,

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website! It is an honor to be a candidate for Wilmington City Council. Our city is incredibly special. Our historic downtown, beautiful beaches, and unique neighborhoods make Wilmington the place I am proud to call my home. Most importantly, the atmosphere of our city is rooted in the uniquely innovative and welcoming spirit of Wilmingtontonians.

I am passionate about public service and how it impacts our community. I want our city to prosper. I want it to look and feel a certain way. Our city must be safe. We should all feel safe whether it's walking the streets, playing in the park or dropping our kids off at school. Our cityscape must be beautiful. A beautiful city with green spaces, parks, and full of recreation opportunities attracts talent and facilitates community. Finally, our city must be prosperous. Fiscal responsibility in combination with a healthy city workforce is an absolute must!

I will focus my efforts on these matters and I will work diligently to improve our citizen's quality of life and safety. Zoning, signage, and construction decisions must be thoughtful and deliberate. Traffic congestion continues to worsen in our city. I will help guide decisions on zoning and infrastructure that will improve our traffic woes. I will ensure affordable housing is available in our city while making informed decisions on development.

Public health and safety are of utmost importance. As a public servant, I know what is happening on Wilmington streets. Whether it is combating crime, responding to daily emergencies, or being ready for the next big storm, I will support and enhance the capabilities of our hospital system, police department, fire department, and 911 center.

Thank you for your support and your vote! I look forward to serving this great city. If you are passionate about the future of Wilmington and have thoughts, questions, or concerns, I would love to hear them.
